Our official translations include all the required certifications to ensure your documents will be accepted by all public authorities in Greece. For official translations into other languages and to avoid any inconvenience, we advise you confirm with the foreign authority or organization their certification requiments for translated documents.
If you will submit your documents to private authorities, institutions, or companies, a simple translation without certification is usually sufficient.
However, for transactions with Greek public authorities, services and institutions, such as Municipalities, Regional Units, Registry Offices, Ministries, Tax Offices, Town Planning Office, University Institutions, an official or certified translation is required, stamped by a lawyer and in some cases by a bar association.
The official translation service provided by our agency includes all the necessary validations to ensure that your documents are accepted by all Greek public authorities.
For translations that you will use abroad, it is usually only necessary to have the translation certified by our agency.
However, to avoid any inconvenience and problems, we recommend that you contact the foreign institution to which you will be submitting the documents to confirm that certification by a translation agency is sufficient.
For most language combinations, the delivery time for official translations is 2-3 business days.
However, it is possible for certain language combinations to be delivered on the same day or on the next business day. This service is available at an extra charge and subject to confirmation of availability.
As official translations are delivered in hard copy, they can be received:

The Hague Apostille is issued on original public documents or on exact copies of the issuing authority which have the force of originals.
The Apostille stamp does not certify the translation but attests to the authenticity of the signature and the capacity in which the signatory acted in order to make the documents valid for use in the countries that have signed the convention.
We recommend that you first contact the institution to which you will be submitting the documents to confirm whether you need the Apostille stamp. If Apostille stamp is required, you will need to provide us with the documents you wish to translate after you have received the Apostille stamp.
